What makes you different from other artists?
I can't really say, as I'm not just an artist but also the manager, president and CEO of my companies. I do everything myself from A to Z and have been Baby Brown for 20 years. I'm very ambitious and always try to get the best out of the things I do and I'm very popular with my fans and friends because of my smoky and smoky voice.
How important is it to you that your music is available digitally? How do your fans consume music?
My fans are scattered internationally, so it's very important for me to be able to offer my music digitally. My fans consume my music digitally and also live. What I notice is that there are a lot of repeat consumers.
How important is social media and YouTube in particular for marketing your music?
Very important, as I always have between 500,000 and 20,000,000 views on my videos and this number is constantly increasing, which helps me in terms of promotion.
What is the most important source of income for you as a professional musician? Online sales, CDs or live performances?
Both: I earn very well from sales and also from live shows. I wouldn't want to miss any of it as I'm doing very well with my numbers and they are trending upwards, just like my gig prices which are almost worth a small car in some countries (per gig).
What can we expect from you next?
Next I have 6 singles ready to be released this year. I might also do an album or a small E.P., and next year you can expect a lot of good music and a lot of surprises.
