c) Use of Google Adwords

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR), this website uses Google Adwords, a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA. GDPR) Google AdWords, a service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, ("Google").

The Google "AdWords" service, which is an online marketing process, places ads in the Google advertising network (e.g. in search results, on websites, etc.). These are then displayed to users who are supposedly interested in the ads. This allows ads for and within our online offering to be displayed in a more targeted manner and users are only presented with ads that potentially match their interests.

On the one hand, we use the remarketing function within the Google AdWords service. Remarketing is when you are shown ads for products that you have shown an interest in on other online offers. We are interested in showing you advertising that is of interest to you in order to make our website more interesting for you

For this purpose, the interaction of users on our website and on all websites of Google AdWords customers is analyzed.

For this purpose, Google stores a code in the browsers of users who visit certain Google services or websites in the Google Display Network. This code, known as a "cookie", is used to record the visits of these users, the content they are interested in and which offers the user has clicked on, as well as technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information about the use of the online offer. This code is used to uniquely identify a web browser on a specific computer and not to identify a person; personal data is not stored. You can deactivate the use of cookies by Google by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. You can find more information about Google Remarketing and Google's privacy policy at https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.

On the other hand, we use conversion tracking as part of the Google AdWords service. When you click on an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer/end device. Google uses this to create statistics for the AdWords customer, which only show an anonymous total number of users who have clicked on an ad. The Adword customer does not receive any personal data as a result and this information is therefore not used for personal identification.

To prevent the storage of cookies, you can make the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that the use of the provider's website is not possible/only possible to a limited extent if cookies are deactivated.

You also have the option of deactivating interest-based ads on Google and interest-based Google ads on the web (within the Google display network) in your browser. You can change the corresponding settings at https://www.google.de/settings/ads or https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ respectively. Further information on your setting options in this regard and data protection at Google can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/?fg=1.

The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

As the operator of the website, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. We only have the option of selecting which segments of Facebook users (such as age, interests) our ads should be displayed to.
