RC021: Classical Music

Please note that the portals have special data requirements, especially for classical music. Therefore, always plan a lead time of at least 3-4 weeks.

In general, it is advisable to contact the responsible employee (cdagata@feiyr.com) for classical music releases before publication so that any necessary changes and adjustments can be coordinated in advance.

It is essential for a successful submission to the portals that all necessary information is available in the title data. A classical title is usually created in the following standard format:

Name of the work, key, catalog number: movement number. Movement tempo

Examples:

Symphonies, concertos and sonatas:
- Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67: I. Allegro con brio
- Piano Concerto No. 5 in F minor, BWV 1056: III. Presto

In the case of non-standard repertoire:
- Three lyrical works, Op. 47: No. 1, Summer Song
- Die Winterreise, D. 911: No. 24, Der Leiermann

Operas:
Work: “Title of the song”
Work = consists of the title of the opera, possibly catalog number, act, possibly scene

- Don Giovanni, K. 527, Act II : “Il mio tesoro intanto”
- La Traviata, Act I: “Libiamo, libiamo...”
- Falstaff, Act III, Scene 2: “Tutto nel mondo è burla”
- The Flying Dutchman, Act 1, Scene 3: Duet. “Weit komm' ich her” (Dutchman, Daland)
