What should be taken into account when creating an audiobook and/or a radio play?

Basically the same things have to be considered as with a music product (Information on new releases). However, the following important things apply additionally.

If there are chapter names in the audiobook, they should be used as track titles if possible. The product title may not be used in the track title, even if your audio book/radio play has only one track or has no actual chapters.

It may only be named according to these schemes:.
• Chapter name or Chapter 1, Chapter name or Chapter 2 ...

Examples:
Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3 etc.
How it all began, A surprise, Adventures in Windhoek

• Chapter name (Part 1) or Chapter 1 (Part 1), Chapter name (Part 2) or Chapter 1 (Part 2), Chapter name (Part 1) or Chapter 2 (Part 1) ...

Examples:
Chapter 1 (Part 1),Chapter 1 (Part 2), Chapter 2 (Part 1),Chapter 2 (Part 2), Chapter 3 etc.
How it all began (Part 1),How it all began (Part 2), A surprise, Adventures in Windhoek (Part 1), Adventures in Windhoek (Part 2)

- Chapter 1: Chapter name or chapter 1 - Chapter name, Chapter 2: Chapter name or chapter 2 - Chapter name ...

Examples:
Chapter 1: How it all began, Chapter 2: A surprise, Chapter 3: Adventures in Windhoek etc.
Chapter 1 - How it all began, Chapter 2 - A surprise, Chapter 3 - Adventures in Windhoek etc.

- Chapter 1: Chapter Name (Part 1) or Chapter 1 - Chapter Name (Part 1) Chapter 1: Chapter Name (Part 2) or Chapter 1 - Chapter Name (Part 2) Chapter 2: Chapter Name (Part 1) or Chapter 2 - Chapter Name (Part 1).

Examples:
Chapter 1: How it all began (Part 1), Chapter 1: How it all began (Part 2), Chapter 2: A surprise (Part 1), Chapter 2: A surprise (Part 2), Chapter 3: Adventures in Windhoek etc.
Chapter 1 - How it all began (Part 1), Chapter 1 - How it all began (Part 2), Chapter 2 - A Surprise, Chapter 3 - Adventures in Windhoek (Part 1), Chapter 3 - Adventures in Windhoek (Part 2) etc.

Please note that the term part may and must only be used by you if you have divided a single chapter into several parts. Otherwise, the term part is not applicable. It is not used to number all chapters.

Guidelines:
Please note that the track length should be at least 3 minutes. The intro and the outro are allowed to be shorter and are excluded from this rule.
A single track is not permitted to be longer than one hour.
Also make sure that there is no more than 3 seconds of silence at the beginning or end of a track.

Audible: The total playing time of your radio play/audiobook should be more than 10 minutes, otherwise your work will not go online at Audible.

Please do not create too large products (number of titles): Many streaming providers have problems with products with too many chapters. If you find well over 500 chapters per audiobook, please split the audiobook into two (or more) separate products so that all users can hear them easily.
Please contact the support if you want to add more than 150 tracks to your audio book. They will then give you access to this feature.
