Google impedes search for illegal content

For years, the music and film industry has already been complaining about Google that they would not do enough against the finding of illegal downloads. With the campaign "How Google combats piracy" the company wanted to improve its image last year.

In a new report, Google explains how the company wants to impede the discovery of illegal content in the future, for example, more legal offers should be in the top of the search results and there should be an improvement for the tool, that websites with frequent DMCA complaints (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) will be better identified.

Recently there was also a message from Google that there is now a program with which the author can control the illegal distribution of their products and also monetize.
