Spotify Pitching: Your New Music in Spotify Playlists

Spotify has recently introduced a new feature (beta phase) that allows you to pitch your new and unreleased tracks to the global editorial team so that your songs are included in Spotify Playlists.
How does it work?

You simply log in to your Spotify for Artists account. There you then have the opportunity to submit an unreleased song for playlists. It is important that you provide as much information as possible, such as genre, subgenre, mood, playlist suggestions and other important information (e.g. about your marketing and promotion activities). All of this data helps us to decide whether to include your track in a playlist.

If you pitch your song at least 7 days before release, your track will also appear in the “Release Radar” playlist of all your followers. However, Spotify recommends planning at least 4 weeks in advance.
