Mixcloud has recently become part of our partner distribution network. Mixcloud is a radio service from the UK that allows users to stream DJ mixes and podcasts via Internet radio programmes.
Currently, the streaming service only offers a free rate: With the free (advertising-financed) tariff, users can call up programmes on demand or stream algorithmically compiled playlists.
In addition, two different subscription models are planned for the future: One cross-page and one individual channel subscription model:
With the cross-page subscription, users have access to all radio stations on Mixcloud. With the station subscription model, users only have access to the radio station they have subscribed to.
The radio shows and DJ mixes can be created by the users themselves. The tracks are identified and billed using a fingerprint ID.
You can easily select or deselect Mixcloud when publishing your release. Your previous releases will be delivered automatically over the next weeks.
